35th World Championship in Casting Sport

With the UK's bid at Trinity Park, Ipswich 23-29th September being rejected by the ICSF Board (technical reasons being cited).

The revised venue and date is now Halle, Gemany, 10-15th September.

Do you know Edoardo Pagani from Lecco ?

He casts at the ICSF but his prime pleasure is casting & fishing with 5 to 9 weight outfits.

It's just a thought as he wanted to hold the 2011 ICSF WCs in Italy so he is keen. Let me know if you need his contact details and I can send them to you.

A number of the Estonian casters in last weeks WCs where using a Russian Tackle spinning rod converted for T38 work. Very useable at less than €100.

Well for thos e who are interested the long range forecast looks interesting - Thunder showers with temps in the low teens °C.

Hi Paul,
I agree with you that if the ICSF took this under their banner then it would be a natural progression from the current events & visa-versa, which must be good for the sport in general.
The biggest down side is the annual affiliation fees.
