Juice of 1/3 to 1/2 a lime Matt The idea that something other than the sliced or quartered fruit, of anything other than a lemon, be put into a G&T is simply beyond the pale. The merest suggestion of such a thing would have any self respecting london barman, if they survived the shock, demandin...

Has anyone recommended Bob Wyatt's "Trout Hunting"!?! As Sexyloopers we have been required to purchase a copy for ourselves and at least one other copy to give as a gift. You must have missed the memo. And......Bob uses the word "necromancy" in this book, no other fishing author...

Corin Mick converted a Bloke SH 10' 7# to give a DH option for me earlier this year , I appreciate that this is a bit light for your needs but it works a treat. If I were to be hypercritical it would be that the top grip is slightly too short which tends to bring my hands a bit too close together i...

You can if you are afraid of float tube monsters...., a brush of weed at the ankle and I'm off. If the Z Access was more aerodynamically effective I believe I would actually generate lift. :)

Careful there Stoats. Matt's suffering from SAD. And he has a pain in the neck. Be gentle. Thats very worrying Rich. Matt, aside from the electric pads and a regular dose of Sheridans Cavalry Powder I can also recommend home taxidermy as a theraputic distraction during these slow dark gloomy days o...

Ask the same guy why his town is called "Los Gatos". He told me at the time that Los Gatos was called Los Gatos 'cos of the Cougar found in the area, but there was a strange reek of testosterone in the air and no evidence of either Steelhead or Cougar in the immediate vicinity so I had to...

I've heard some explain the name as descriptive of the fish's coloration when they are fresh from the sea. Their dorsal side is a steel gray/blue color and the rest of the fish is either translucent, silver, or white. I'm absolutely sure thats a fact Matt but I wonder where it came from, who first ...
