HI Stesiik Yeah, and thanks alot guys! Currently I'm using a TircX #12 but prior to that a Penn International 12 and a Loop 10 weight - I dont really feel that they're casting rods, but it's nice to know that all of them can do actual fishing aswell  The TFO will feel the heat during May when...

Hi Marc It's quite deliberate that my leader is made of thin butt, since my experience with more coarse diametres is no too good. I think thick nylon is often a distancekiller due to memory and resistance, but perhaps I just need to get the upper loopleg in line  I'll give the Single Hand le...

Choice of leader
Hey Comp casters! I've recently taken up practicing the Single Handed Fly Distance (T38) with a standard 12# 9 foot rod and a homemade SH that meets the given specifications. My question regards what type of leader you guys use and also why? So far I've been using a hometied 7 foot leader of 0.50mm...

As far as I'm concerned the best group I've seen in action was at Danish Fly-Festival - those guys worked their bollocks off. I met Dan and Tim who were over to examine Danish candidates and their positive attitude (and humour) made a refreshing change. Hi Magnus The whole atmosphere at Danish FlyF...

Hi guys Its about clarity. Morsie and everyone else can recommend and compare any rod, brand and tackle as much as they like, but as Torsten points out - the connection to manufactures should be mentioned so that independent readers are able to decide if the given advise is biased to an extend beyo...

Svend, Ryan I don´t get it - you´re both Vikings but detest Gl. Dansk? I think it´s good for about anything - a general purpose fluid! There´s only one bad thing attached to Gammel Dansk, and that´s the smell of ones sweat after dieting on the stuff for a few weeks :p This is what happens to any go...

Paul Now why would a bear go for the skinniest guy around?? Not to mention Lasse being a Viking who would leak Gammel Dansk instead of blood if the bear succeded with a few pinholes :oh: My most upright fear for Lasses health is if he gets bitten by a mosquito and the poor bug takes off before extr...
