If any body can't make it put me in for £40. It'd be worth that just to find out what the hell you lot are on about.

brilliant brilliant reels, easilly the best sub-£300 reel ive ever seen.
i'm desperate to get a pair for my piking - they're super light but the drag is man enough too.
go for it!

in all likelihood yes. it's a real struggle trying to find nice light reels to fit the ultra light short rods. the sage click is the best ive found yet, a nice wide arbour and super super light. no drag system as such but lets be honest do you really need one for most three weight applications?!

the TCX switch is a peach of a rod, probably the best choice for throwing short heads and sunk tips. the loomis switch is a really nice smooth casting rod - less powerful than the sage but would still handle shorter heads. the orvis helios is so light it's unreal, the tip flex is exactly that, a ve...

fish finders - for finding features

right, I know i'm going to get a whole heap of stick here but i'm ready for it. im looking to buy a fish finder (i prefer the term feature finder - i know where the fish are, they're in the lake) to use only when pike fishing on very large reservoirs. it's next to impossible to locate features like...

i've started using an outbound short inter tip recently for my pike fishing and in truth it took a few hours to figure out. i get right to the leader (as you do when fishing pike flies) and literally use the rod and fly like a lead weight - throwing the fly far enough to get some more line out. i t...
