Waterproof's the big one. I take it that'll house a 7d and a 15-85mm lens no problems? I can fit my 5D Mark II with the bulky 24-70 f/2.8 (without hood) into my Ortlieb. I'm about to replace my Ortlieb, btw. It has lasted 7 years of abuse and has saved my camera on several occasions. It's always wi...

Rich, I've only read a short introduction to the 6D (and I'm not too impressed with the specs) but I guess the question is which differences between these cameras matter to YOU, i.e. what will you be using it for (mostly)? For example: - Will you be shooting video as well and if so, how important i...

Very generous of you, Magnus!

But.. over a hundred views and no bids!? :???:

I already have too many reels this size but I'll start the bidding at 200 €.

Even the free software that comes with Sandisk cards may be able to retrieve the photos.

That sucks big time, sorry to hear it! :( My film partner and I both have a bunch of Transcend CF cards, mostly 32 GB ones. They've been used pretty intensively for both stills and movie productions in all kinds of locations (hot, cold, humid, underwater, etc.) over the past three years. We've neve...

I agree - the 600SP is a shit hook. On fish with hard mouths (in particular tarpon), the long point of the hook rolls over super easily. I have also bent/straightened a couple (2/0 or 3/0 on 10 lbs fish).

Buy some Gama SL12 or Owner AKI instead :)

One of these . Jan recommended it ages ago. Totally awesome. Mine takes a regular dunking and the camera stays dry. Believe it or not, I'm still using my original one that I bought in 2005. It has been in many, many countries and have saved my camera several times (including when falling off a skif...

I haven't used the Guideline Drifter myself, but a friend had one and it fell apart after about a week's worth of intensive use. I have absolutely abused my Outcast Super Fat Cat through many weeks of fishing in harsh conditions. I think it's as indestructible as a float tube can be. Not the cheape...
