Rain and a dunk in the river is all. Well used cork develops a natural neat smooth patina look that brings charm and grace to the grass/glass/plastic rods. :D

I remember when they busted out with the B2x rods and said they were fast. They felt medium or medium fast to me, depending on which line weight you were using. I thought the lower weights were a nice casting rod, but did not care much for 6 weight and above, slow and gutless, but then again it pro...

In addition anglers-pro does have the 905-4 listed in stock, but @ 499 you probably get one off ebay (lightly used) 330-60ish.

XP owner here also....love em in 6 and 8 weight. Z-Axis was nice too and the 6 weight was good, however I give the 6 and heavier lines to XP and the 5 and under to Z-Axis. The Z-Axis reminded me of the first winston b2x rods, light and good feel but lacking casting punch in heavier weights. Then wi...

Beautiful Reels! Cant comment but I do have a bauer MSL1 and Z6 and both are top notch performers....smooth drags The Rogue has been out some time and I have not heard anything negative other than price.....and that is probably the best only complaint to have for a fly reel.

Actually I thought their weights were very comparable to what is out there for 9-10' rods, and if anything perhaps a little light for the long rod.
Like the solid look :)

I have never has a problem with redington products. While I have not tried the rise reel I do hear good reviews about them. The other thing is there are some new (old) former models you can find at good prices such as the GD and CD models. Dont know much about this surge reel you have but it looks ...
