Crimped barbs here all the time, because I keep a very small part of my catches and I don't ming loosing a fish that anyhow I will release.

All right, here is a report on my week in Cuba: One word: Paradise I am no expert at all, but if this can help: I flyfished Cayo Largo, rod 8wt 9' (my pike tackle), 8wt WF(nothing fancy, cold water fly line), 10' leader was mono 20#, heavy leaded stripped bass yellow streamer.
