Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately I had no info. with the reel and I've mailed vosseler but had nothing.

I normally use 2 to 3 lb tippet but the problem really is that compared to all my other reels the RC3 seems tight when pulling line off the reel. Maybe it needs use.

Vosseler RC3 - Tackle

All these years looking in and gaining so much and only my third post. Shame on the lurker.

However, just acquired a RC3 from ebay and looks great for my Dartmmor rivers. The clutch however is a bit fierce for 6" Browns & there seems no adjustment. Any ideas please.

The problem with fining a UK Water Authority is that eventually the costs work their way back to the consumer.

The individual concerned either needs some training or the sack.

As a point of interest I trust all UK loopers are ACA members. Anyone not, shame on you.
