Hugh Falkus ,who tried to teach this hamfisted guy spey casting told us all speycasting is redirected roll casts and then went on to teach or try in my case the roll cast .

Gallah, for me different hooks are used for the weight of the wire ratio to the amount of dressing . Your nymph hook will fish higher in the water than your short shank . Thats with no weighting to the hook ,something I like to do ,never been a big fan of beadheads ,except for tiny nymphs for winte...

They are made by one of the two non barstool makers based around redditch . Great lines for the longer rod ,I own the 10/11 in inter and wetII type and find them excellent in early and late season teamed with a 16 ft Norway .
