GT rods
I'm going to be doing some GT fishing soon, from the shore mainly, and was wondering was is the best # and make rod for casting/holding fish? I may end up borrowing a rod as I don't think it'll get the use it fully deserves plus I can't afford to have rod sitting in the cupboard not getting used re...

Those are great fish Gonzo, I imagine they are real trophies. What kind of water depth are you pulling them from? On the Hampshire coast things are picking up.
