Hey guys,

it'd be a big help if you could give us a shout to say whether you plan to come to the clave. Give us an idea how much food to plan. :D

Helen's got a nice young guy now, Dale. But you can still flirt with her at the cafe she and her husband run. :D

See you when you show up.

FFF Casting Instructor testing South Island

A heads up re FFF CI testing at the Middlemarch Clave.

Carl and Morsie will be testing up to three people on either Friday or Sunday PM. Friday is best so if a couple of you are thinking of doing your Ci on the weekend of 29 Jan, get in touch and get registered.

Peter Hamer says we can have a bonfire out in the corral too Should be better for finding a place out of the wind for casting games, etc. You can see the campgrou...

You can't avoid lipping fish on downstream wets on a tight line, Eric. I don't mean to tell you how to suck eggs, but, as you know, the way the trout usually takes is to close his mouth on the fly and turn away with it, sideways or down, usually both.
