I've been on holiday for 4 years Lars. :D Andy, yes the first one is neater, but I was being diplomatic :p. 4 years ago I would have told you to measure each leg with a micrometer, but I just think sparse (ok, and neat :) ) is better. The ones I used to tie in the flytying section could have pulled...

Looks good. I think it's nice to have some really stripped down (and maybe velcro scruff bag) ones as well as the nice, neat, bulky skaters.

Fuck! Being away from here's done some really wierd things to my flytying! :-)

Hi Andy

I like it, but it depends whether you want to tie perfect, tie for fish, or both ;-)

The last ones I tied were similar, but with less hackle, less (shorter) wing etc. I prefer them pretty sparse now.

5 ft is fuck all, not a problem. Didn't paul say 85 is optimum for that line recently? In any case you'll be throwing back more weight with the MED, that's why it feels harder.

Just found out how fast the contents of the card delete (by mistake! :angry: )
