Hi Guys,

I'm still pursuing the submarines with limited success :glare:

Maybe it depends how important casting is versus catching.

The Ferris Indicator Ring is just one of many great examples of why this site rocks

Hey Lars, congratulations on passing the MI exam. I wondered about it because I have been starting my explanation, about this topic, with changing the casting plane; angle high on the back cast low on the forward cast. And it's really interesting that you mention "line folds out *just* before ...

Thanks Guys,

SteveJ, I've been thinking about the first impression issue.
I think the best way for me to handle topics like catch and release is to start with something like "in my humble opinion, and this is why."

Thanks Maxg, I'll look around.

For me lately it seems any fish with major burst speed combined with a few beefy pounds is an addiction. Hell, Carp did it for me this summer. My addiction continues to evolve. Geez now that I think of it the spring creek hunts are pretty damn good too. Oops of topic. Did anyone ask Paul to define ...

I have a lot to cover so I could plan to formally give habitat and entomology about an hour. But casua...
