The rubbing alcohol method works perfectly on Simms Goretex waders... I've repaired lots of holes that way. Turn inside out and apply rubbing alcohol, if there's a hole in the membrane a dark grey spot will appear after a few seconds. Apply f.ex. Liquisole or aquaseal while still wet from the alcoh...

Here's some data on the Stroft http://www.waku-angelsport.de/technical_data.pdf I prefer "Drennan Double Strength" as tippet material. It's strong, reliable and available in 100 (even got a 600) meter spools. I mainly use 0,16 - 0,23 and 0,28 mm. for my fishing (seatrout, brown, grayling,...

It was really great meeting you all (again)

The pikefever got too strong so I went over again thursday. Friday we (two flyfishers) had some good fishing on a new spot with 19 pike, five of them around 90 cm.
Saturday the fishing culminated with a grand mamma pike of 117 cm.

Cheer

I haven't caught any mullets on the often recommended green marabou flies, but I've caught some on a Red Tag, some on small gammarus patterns and had one as a sidecatch on a shrimp fly... from the danish coast and had some takes on the same flies in Ireland. The mullet is the strongest fighter on t...
