We had another shootout on Sunday and someone (not me) had set the tapes up into a slight breeze. After six rods I was in the lead but someone (not me) decided we had to have three more rods with the tape with the breeze and I ended up second overall because the person who had been second had a couple of lucky shots and ended up first. I'm not bitter.....much.
Another great Sexyloops weekend and thanks to Matt and Ben for the hour or two on roll casting (on water for Gods sake!)
Thanks to Simon and Martin for the lift from the airport and Ben for the lift back.
See you all next year. I might even get my waders wet.
Mike

Just a quick post with some results for now, I took so many pics that it will take me hours to get them all up.
Was a superb gathering this year, thanks to all those who travelled considerable distances to be there. We had Latvians, Hungarians, Australians, Canadians and UK guys from all corners of the country. As well as the obligatory casting there was some fishing too..
I spent three days trying to get Matt onto a Scottish Spring salmon and although we didn't get one on the bank we contacted a couple and did get a very nice trout
Into a Don springer
Matt gets some instruction from Hamish "stand fucking still Howell, ya wanker"
Setting up a nice Spey
Loop away!
Snapper Heritage sits and contemplates the advantages and disadvantages of single hand Spey casting
Peter & Paul fish at Fetternear
Matt throws the DHD. Nice job with that Matt, considering you've never fished with one before that was impressive stuff dude
Rats Tail almost looking as if he is enjoying a shootout
Matt throws the 18'er
Group mug shot, should have done this on Saturday as some had to leave first thing Sunday
Peter shows us free climbing Hungarian style, one of the most crazy things I've ever seen :O
Heritage gets fully into the Colquhonnie swing
Random casting stuff
