because you have a lot less mass than the Dude ?
Are you saying that Paul steps on his rods?

i most certainly didn't mean to imply there was anything wrong with being 'slender', Marshal :D
heck, local (Sweden) Rony Landin just set a world record of 42,5m (139ft) in competition and he's not that much thicker than Lasse !

i can't prove it but i get the feeling that bigger guys break more rods. (and they don't necessarily cast farther :D )

cheers,
marc

Hamish breaks rods and he's quite big, I think you could be on to something there Marc

Ahem..... I haven't broken many rods that belong to me :D
Besides, the additional mass of casting 'ballast' as I like to call it, can be helpful on occasion :p

Hi Marc

That is the longest true 5 weight line cast I know of in competition

Can't find any longer recorded anywhere I've looked.

Cheers

Actually go for cane instead, that might give you something you'll have a hard time breaking

How come I don't break rods?

Cheers
Lasse
Perhaps you don't break rods because you're
, and I quote "Not a well built person" And "Quite a lean looking character." :p

Yup, I'm also a pencil-neck. :D

I'd guess Greenheart would be tough to break for Paul too if it hasn't dried.
I'm here just for the chicks.

Sakke, don't believe everything you hear on the internet :p

That must have been the best thing about entering that competition at CLA :D
