Not to be compared to the World Championships, of course but on Sun 9 Sept 2012 9.30am the BFCC will be at the Lochinch Police Club Pollock Country Park Glasgow G41 4SN - In association with The Glasgow Casting Club.
5/7 and 9 events plus T38 and T120 and tuition.

I'll be there along with Hugh Newton. I'll also have a couple of rods for sale, a T38 and a T120 if anyone is interested.
T38 is a hybrid, loomis tip and more powerful CTS butt. Lined guides taped to the blank, Fuji reel seat - £80.
T120 is by Zziplex and is a blank, slightly softer and lighter than the current model so not quite as scary - £120
Buy the two, and I'll throw in a T38 line with the deal.

Yup,
Bloody good day, dead air in morning that turned into a mild head wind, warm, thick air. Afternoon wind swirling around like a barstool around the park thanks to the trees which made casting the T120 & T38 very interesting!
Took a load of video but very few photos, will get some uploaded over the next few days. Will get results up soon but nothing startling in terms of distance.
Added a 27g floating shooting head to the comp today, not sure if this will be adopted as a permanent event or not but everyone seemed to enjoy casting it.
