Good stuff Gerhard. How are you liking the kayak now seeing you've got some time on it?

Hi Eric

Got the "go with the flow" feeling you need to stay on the thing, simple and easy way to get on the water.
I've got a system in place for "where to put all my shit", I'm lazy so there wasn't much development on the "system" and I can't get to the camera in the waterproof bag in the back without getting off the boat - or like Sunday a buddy on another boat had to take it out. :D
I'm in temporary accomodation currently with my shit stored all over, the search for my rod holders was interesting enough - if the boat had more accesories I never would'e gone fishing! :p

Well I've done something completely new for me. Saltwater fly fishing chasing Kahawai with Andrew and his mate. I loved it.

Careful Jack, once the salt gets in your veins it doesn't come out very easily :p

You need a waterproof camera Gerhard! How are you carrying the second rod?

Cheers, Paul

How are you carrying the second rod

A buddy who can weld helped me build it, very simply stainless steel rod ( 5mm I guess) frame with PVC pipe rod holders cable tied to it.
2 arms hook into the rear anchor points for the seat and then there's a 90deg foot that presses on the boat just behind the seat. It's somewhat floppy, which I've found is an advantage.
Simple and it's done it's job for a while
