Got one of these coming to me mainly for video use.

Could anyone recommend any windows compatible software for editing video & pics for casting stuff?

Cheers

Windows live! moviemaker works pretty well for simple video editing and it's free.

A friend have one of those cameras. I think it records in .avi-format. Didn't have any problem editing those videos.

Hi Ben!

I have one of those! I have used it quite alot and mainly for the same purposes as you mentioned. It's particularly useful when you're practising with seatrout heads :p.

It records in .avi format. I'm editing all my videos in the camera. There is a nice function where you can edit and cut all the crappy casts away before transferring the video to the computer. It's probably not very good for making fancy movies with music and shit, if that's what you want to do you will probably need one of those softwares.

Cheers,
Fredrik

Yep, one of them. I think Casio have got a couple of other models with similar specs aswell.

Could look like this. (Stefan in 640x480 120 FPS)

Or like this. (Me in HD-mode)

Check out powerdirector for a relatively cheap and pretty good video editing software. will cover you for the formats windows movie maker doesn't.
