That's kinda wierd how the water falls off the ridge like that

Stu is that an ant attacking/kissing the vine moth?

Yeah, the ant was making a meal of it, in more ways that one. I watched it for about 5 min trying to get the PVH off the Feijoa tree. Kept on getting tangled in leaves. He finally just fell off.

Tailing fish picking off caddis grubs in the Waipoopoo stream.

Then it saw a caddis on the water - the 5D has a ridiculously slow motor drive for a premium camera so I missed the gob open shot.

30th Dec, Upper Rangi.

A couple of fish were sitting at the top of pools but mostly all under the edge of banks.

I also tried the camera on the backpack trick for the second one. Not so good, but you get the idea.
