Grab Bag with Flies - It's a mystery...

Post by jason_borger »

One grab bag—well, box, actually—of fly-fishing-related stuff. And flies (not tied by me). What's in it (other than the flies)? Don't know yet, but I'll make it worth a good bit more than the winning bid...

Sorry not to be more specific, but there must be at least one 'Looper who likes to take a chance on the unknown (think of it as night-fishing with Paul, or really any fishing with Paul).

Oh yeah, ends March 21 (midnight U.S. PST time).

Wow, two bids already--thanks guys! I've already decided on one item for the box...round, shiny, spins, makes clicking noises... Keep the bids coming (and thanks to Paul and the crew for doing this kind of thing and trying to make a positive difference in the world).

I figured the dolphin riding the merry-go-round would definitely boost the bidding...

Jason said that the grab bag would include some flies that are not tied by him.

If he says it is ok, I'll sweeten the already sweet grab bag pot with half a dozen custom tied (by me) string leeches in a variety of colors that will catch trout or steelhead.

We live across the river from each other so I'll just add my leeches to the box before it ships out.

What do you say Jason?

Matt

OK - I'll follow that Matt - assuming Jason's blessing - with a set of Scandinavian Style zonker wing tube flies!

What say thee, Jason?

Lars

F... - I might place a bid myself :-)
Great flycasters don't think straight - they track straight.....

If it moves - and shouldn't, use duct tape...
If it's stuck - and should move, use WD40...
