PM sent.

And yes, production still involves the melting of sand (essentially) but with so much new capacity coming on stream, carbon and cost efficiencies are improving all the time. The 2-4 yr embodies energy payback will only improve.

Andy

Hi guys, just a few days to go... the running total so far is approx £227, so looking good for twenty solar lanterns at least :)

Stoat and Rich are the current highest bid leaders...

Thanks for all your bids, keep 'em coming :)

I've been hardly online and missed all of this, otherwise I'd have offered up a selection... is it too late?

The running total stands at approx £275 and Matt and Clark are threatening :???: to add flies to the auction too.

Auctions close Friday at midnight BST, so still time to bid....

Thanks for all the support so far.

Andy :)

Just a quick post as I'm heading out tonight to take Cal to his first gig in Belfast, he's just finished school for the summer...

... the auction ends tonight at midnight BST, so only 6hrs and 49 mins to go at the time of typing....

I'll check back later to see the results.

Keep 'er lit!

Hi Andy
I know is it well passed the time, but is it too late to bid for any of the lots? It doesn't look like you have sold them all?

thanks Glenda

Hi Glenda,

All the lots have gone... :( they are listed individually on each post, with confirmation of the winners.

There's already talk of another marathon next year - I'll keep you posted...

Sorry for the late reply.

Andy

PS: Guy's flies will be posted direct from Roy. Roy has Nik's and Mick's flies, and will pass on Mark's (I handed them to him last week). Hans is sending his lot direct to BA/Fraser by post.
I'll be posting the Deer Creek flies on Saturday (working in Scotland all week).

THANK AGAIN EVERYONE.

Hi Glenda, I'm still waiting for vice, hooks, materials and sheep to arrive before I tie my Marathon Six. If you are keen to start bidding on another set of RFUs I'll start the bidding at $60. That's $10 a fly.

Cheers, Paul
