And yes, production still involves the melting of sand (essentially) but with so much new capacity coming on stream, carbon and cost efficiencies are improving all the time. The 2-4 yr embodies energy payback will only improve.

I know is it well passed the time, but is it too late to bid for any of the lots? It doesn't look like you have sold them all?
thanks Glenda
great cause
Hi Glenda,
All the lots have gone... they are listed individually on each post, with confirmation of the winners.
There's already talk of another marathon next year - I'll keep you posted...
Sorry for the late reply.
Andy
PS: Guy's flies will be posted direct from Roy. Roy has Nik's and Mick's flies, and will pass on Mark's (I handed them to him last week). Hans is sending his lot direct to BA/Fraser by post.
I'll be posting the Deer Creek flies on Saturday (working in Scotland all week).
THANK AGAIN EVERYONE.
Andy

Hi Glenda, I'm still waiting for vice, hooks, materials and sheep to arrive before I tie my Marathon Six. If you are keen to start bidding on another set of RFUs I'll start the bidding at $60. That's $10 a fly.
