Propolis Palinka
This stuff is lovely; you've really got to try some before you die. Its health-giving properties could add ten years to your life... but it's not worth it

I think Gammel Dansk  and Unicum  are actually very similar. They both have 40 different herbs, and while they may not actually have the same combination of herbs in exactly the same quantities, the fact that they have any herbs in them at all already makes it sick. And I haven't drunk both back to back, in fact I try to avoid drinking either.
But Propolis Palinka is a whole new ball game. I watched Peter applying it to a swelling in one of his eyes, but they also apply it to skin cuts, grazes and as a cure for all diseases. Would I like to try some? No thanks! But I did anyway. The cool thing - apparently - is after you've drunk (or applied) all the Palinka, you can then eat the Propolis... it's "chewy".
Cheers, Paul

Gammel Dansk then, which tastes very good AND is very good for you as well.
We must have some again soon :-)
I think I still have some in the house Lars, but I haven't checked since you left it there. It may have melted its way through the bottom of the bottle, through the bottom of the booze cabinet, the floor, and might now be on its way to the centre of the earth, for all I know.
Fook, wot spawt!

I hope so, Al, because in that case, the tectonic plates are now on their way to being fused together, ending all earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and saving billions of lives. That's the sort of thing Gammel Dansk does for the World - and they don't even charge extra for it - it's just the sort of thing they do :-)

Great flycasters don't think straight - they track straight.....
If it moves - and shouldn't, use duct tape...
If it's stuck - and should move, use WD40...
