AAPGAI

Post by Paul Arden »

Hi guys and ladies,

I realise that I've trained quite a few guys here for FFF examinations for money. Anyone who I've done this for, who would like to join AAPGAI, I am happy to help retrain for free.

In fact if you've spent money elsewhere to become FFF certified, because for some weird reason you feel that you've been influenced by me, and would like now to train for AAPGAI, then let me know and you can have some of my time for free.

Phew, now I'm in the clear :p

Cheers,
Paul

Awesome. When is AAPGAI coming to Canada? Better yet, when is Paul Arden coming to Canada?

I'll be over next summer, Walter. Maybe early season, or Fall!

Cheers, Paul

Kewl!

Better start planning now:
1. Make sure the local department store has sufficient laundry detergent on hand for the sock wash
2. Have the local fire department stand by in case you want to have your usual camp fire
3. Chess board
4. Jagermeister
5. Tools for car repair on hand

Anything else?
:D

Paul:

I forwarded your offer to Dan and Denise. Here is Dan's response:

I will take you up on that offer Paul. I can pay you with some old FFF awards and badges. Seriously though, at this late stage in my life I am going to start down the path for AAPGAI certification.

So if you are drifting around in Canada, let me know.

I also want to point out that Illtyd, the Chair of AAPGAI stood up and told the FFF that what they were doing was wrong. A man of integrity.

Sounds good to me. I still owe Dan a lesson from when he gave me a couple of hours on the DHD in Vancouver.

Hal, you better make sure they also have axes to spare, because I might join Paul for a Canada-mission :-).

Great flycasters don't think straight - they track straight.....

If it moves - and shouldn't, use duct tape...
If it's stuck - and should move, use WD40...

Hmmm, have you a fixed itinerary in mind Paul ?
Can you get the truck to Iqaluit ? doesn't have to be pink.

I don't know but leaving it until the Fall doesn't seem to work so I'll head over in the late Spring. The truck needs a new gearbox, windscreen and either imported to Canada or else several years of back license plates paid in Michigan. In fact I may need a new truck! Either way it's time to get back there. Latohegy is finished now and coming here for a couple or three months/year would be perfect.
