Got the #11 and #12 today

#11 - 47.5g
#12 - 55g

I'm planning on making my 38g head out of the #12 (which I think is actually a #10 - need to measure the length first) :D.

I think T-lines have very high density for their weight but there won't be any taper in heads built using it. Perhaps L-line has even higher density if you can find it.

38g of T-8 is about 22,3m and T-11 about 16,2m.

Hi James,

Lasse makes some excellent points, I went down the same path as you and I used 10 and 11 weight sinkers cut to various lengths. Be a bit careful of the impact of density as you progress and you keep adding a bit to the back end to lengthen the line from 14/15 metres to 16.5 plus. When the SA T40 and the T38 became available, I used my made up lines for practice. At the start of the season it is great to practice with a line a tad longer than the one you compete with so you can't lose by going down the mill end track.

Good luck with it,

John
