Wash with Nikwax "Ttech Wash" & then reproof with "TX" spray.

It's also been suggested to me that you dry them in a clothes drier on a warmish setting because it helps the little hairs on the surface stand up again. The hairs help to repel water and stop wetting out. That Gore-Tex reviver spray basically reapplies the little hairs to the surface. I think you can chuck retreated Gore-Tex in the drier although last time I did it I used a hair dryer. You can see the surface change when you apply heat, it's quite interesting :-).

Hi,
Never had a pair of waders this long. Mine leak like mad before the season is out.
I reckon rather than washing just buy a new pair every year or maybe twice a year.
