Someone else will measure it, Bill, I'm sure. :)

Hi,

if someone gives me one, I can measure all variables, like the test weight for 1/3 length deflection (IP), the AA, MOI, CCF etc.
Also the 15°-method for comparisions.

Bye,
Torsten

Thanks guys ..... Looks great Image

It is all snow and ice around here, so I'm afraid it might be a while before I can go out and enjoy a cast :(

650 €

It must be made with a multi layer process given the price...

As most products' pricing nowdays this rod's is also based on competition at the same or similar performance level. If it would be priced based on cost it would be way more.
Actually we used the most expensive components we could get.

Thanks Merlin

Yes it is multi-layer. We have three different types of layered carbon and a fourth type for reinforcing critical areas. Raw cost and development and production costs have never been an issue. Consequently I don't think we could have finished with a more expensive product! I roughly calculated that if we didn't sell direct final retail would be in excess of 850 Euros in Europe and considerably more abroad. We think it makes more commercial sense to deliver what we feel is a superior product for the price (apart from which, that's the way the market is headed). I think that about sums up our strategy!

I always liked that strategy - high price for high quality product period.
take it or leave it .

No it feels very different to a TCR - has more feel and better tip recovery. Personally I think CCS is crap (but don't tell anyone :p), - however Magnus' Beulah rod is very similar at 7.9 70. According to CCS that should be almost identical - that will certainly be an interesting test!

Beulah? Never heard before. Is it a design from Magnus himself?
