and now...a first Sexyloops rods review !!

Post by Zoran »

OK,
Who will be the first lucky guy to do the review ? It is more than few years I didn't bought a new rod , since there is nothing better than rods I already have .

I am hoping it will be like a new, advanced and improved XP (which Sage never managed to build ) with a touch of TCR and SLP in the same time :kungfo: .
In other words, to be like a some of our all time favorite rods , but to be unique as well .

BTW, great idea Paul , I am sure it will be successful business !

Cheers,
Zoran

I can't think of a better rod when it comes to show my best loops on either a 5wt. or a 6wt. line. It's stiff and at the same time offers me a good feel on short line length already. Very good damping.
Great rod for sure.
Paul,
it might be helpful to offer MOI, ERN, AA and the overall weight ;).
Cheers

Zorro,

I casted some protos...it has better line feel than the xp(if my memory serves well...), and crispier, but really easy to cast.
superb rod IMHO.

...and a must have for SL-ers. :D

Hi guys
I broke one, now Im injoing my secend one. (competition #5)
Reel seat is cool after the change and weight reduction, H&H guides with very good thread work. It is perfectly straight (compering to the first one),
I love the action, and what Bernd is saying about the loops, +1
I use it for distance mostly, ( havent reach mega distance yet), and Im happy to anounce that this is for me a perfect tool.
I will deffenetly use in next WC.
Great for spey casting, I used it in Hungary, with the GT 125. Beautifull, sexyloops, are just tip flick away from you.

I love it so much, that I spent more time with it, than with my wife! ( dont get strange thoughts:-):-):-) )
cheers

Great flycasters don't think straight - they track straight.....

If it moves - and shouldn't, use duct tape...
If it's stuck - and should move, use WD40...

007 has gone. Two 666s. Djordje has asked for 000!

No doubt someone is going to ask for their phone number next :p
