Small and tiny hooks for salmon flies?
Hi all,
I have this summer hooked a fair number of small to mid-size salmons on semi-dries tied on #12-18. The problem is always the same: These flies are one-fish flies since I always bend the hook with leaders suited to fish size.
So, any recommendations for single hooks suited for small and tiny salmon flies (#12-18)?
All answers most welcome.

Kamasan's B270 is a very strong hook, and I think it comes down to size 14. It's a heavy wire shortshank, so that might be a choice. Definitely smaller than your average no. 12 or 14 because of the short shank.
If not, why not a standard wetfly hook, perhaps even a size larger and then tied short?

Great flycasters don't think straight - they track straight.....
If it moves - and shouldn't, use duct tape...
If it's stuck - and should move, use WD40...

I have one problem with carp hooks - I have used them quite a lot as singles behind tube flies, but I sometimes feel that even though the wire is plenty strong (never straigthened one), it's sometimes a little too thin and cuts through the flesh...
Not sure it's valid, but it's in my head :-)

Thanks to all. Will probably give the Carp hooks a try. Comes to think of it I seem to have a few #18 tied on some hooks a friend gave me that I believe are carp hooks.
Tiemco TMC2499 SPBL also seems like a alternative. Doubt the strength. Have tried similar barbless Mustad hooks.
@Hugo: Basically a kind of sparse tied dry midge. Fished dead drift in the surface, or very slowly retrieved. On medium to low waters in not-so-large rivers (salmon up to 20kg). So no big surprises, migde-like pupaes or a hook with tying thread + a few hairs as a "wing" will also work.
This is the North of Norway, so the Salmon is quite eager to take dries.
