Oakland Casting Club - 50th Anniversary

Sunday, June 15th, The Oakland Casting Club is celebrating their 50th anniversary at the casting ponds in Oakland, CA (short drive from San Francisco).

For those that aren't familiar with the club, they aren't as well known as the Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club accross the bay, but it's home to some of the best tournament casters in the world and is currently the most active club in tournament casting in the country (hosting 2 tourneys every month).

If anyone's in the area that day just swing by the ponds and have lunch. They're some of the friendliest people around and it's a great place to spend the afternoon.
