A big thank you to Great Britain. Just saw this article about Great Britain protecting the largest area of the Ocean as protected from commercial fishing in the world. It's the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean.

It's pretty amazing to think about this. Before this was done, only 2 tenths of one percent of the worlds oceans were set aside and protected. Now, we're up to 3 tenths of one percent.

This compares to 6 to 7 percent of land set aside.
