A friend captured this image on Kangaroo Island South Australia, he was actually catching fish!

Hard to see on this image but snake guides were made of wire

Gary

Almost as straight as my old, lovele GLX Classic 9' 6-wt :-). The GLX Classics are/were wonderful rods, but they were all wonky as hell :-)

Lars
Great flycasters don't think straight - they track straight.....

If it moves - and shouldn't, use duct tape...
If it's stuck - and should move, use WD40...

Hi,
The cracks on the Streamflex occur on the faux wooden reel seat.

I heard the same thing about the wooden reel seat of the streamflex rods in another forum too.

Just though that maybe the cork is not of the best quality which is the case even with many of the top end rods too ;)

The funniest thing is that the guy has a slight smile on his face ... he's chuffed with his setup !

I'm sure this is not his first time out with this design,

My friend said he was quite proficient with casting which involved quite a skill to load the rod then sweep the right arm with just the correct timing to direct the line from the spool

And all these years I thought it was just the one's they sent to me as a "key employee”. Nice to know they sent those crooked bastards overseas too.
