Winston GVX - Opinions

Has anyone cast the 4wt 8'6?
I spent a day on the lake with this rod.Winston describe it as fast but i got the impression its more med-fast.

I remember when they busted out with the B2x rods and said they were fast. They felt medium or medium fast to me, depending on which line weight you were using. I thought the lower weights were a nice casting rod, but did not care much for 6 weight and above, slow and gutless, but then again it probably had more to do with my casting stroke then the rod. I was use to casting Xp's and that stoke doesn't parlay well into casting the B2x's. Some could really throw a line on those B2x's upper weights.

So the question is before you casted the GVX what was the rod(s) you had been using?

haha BWF...i was casting the 5wt XP the whole day before!!
