Hi,
Will be in Copenhagen at the end of June 2013.
Thinking of attaching some fishing to the weekend.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bass

Hi Bass,
you may want to fish for Sea trout at the Baltic coast at that time of year. South of Copenhagen you can find "Møn". That is an island full of beautiful chalk cliffs directly at the Baltic coast. At that time of year you would fish the last hours of light and then into the dark as well as the first hours of light and then til 11 am.
Here is how it looks at that time:
As well you can find very good fishing north west of Copenhagen at "sjaellands odde". Very good place at that time of year.
Best

You might also consider going north. At that time of year the seatrout tend to migrate to water with higher salinity. Places like Hornbæk, Gilbjerg, Udsholt and Vejby on the north coast of Zealand are all good bets and they are aprox one hours drive from CPH.
Best chances are early morning, at dusk and all through the night. Use BBB-flies at night - big, bulky and black. Suface lure-type flies work well.
Don't expect shit-hot action all through the night. At that time of year, the fishing is patchy. Sometimes they come in to feed, sometimes they don't. But you might just hook up with a specimen. Some of the biggest - and best conditioned - seatrout are caught at that time of year.
Cheers

do you and Silja give courses together? I think this would be an excellent thing to offer!
