IGFA Rules - RIGHT tippet not Light tippet Campaign

I was saddened by Bernd's FP today.

I too have met an "IGFA World Record Holder" - his speciality was catching sailfish on what I would consider trout tippets.

I was utterly sickened - its just cruel and wrong.

Like an abertoir using a shotgun.

I have become a member of IGFA and will be sending them a petitioning email to urge them to stop the practice.

Why don'y you do the same? And Tweet/Facebook encouragement to other right-minded human beings?

We must have respect for our quarry - it is a tradition found in all ancient cultures. We hunt, yes, but we are thankful and respectful of our quarry and the environment which we share.

The IGFA won't get any support from me until it has a major rethink of its "world records".
