Yes, Paul is passing the big secret on to you now! When you get a tip like that you know that you are getting a bit too good... :laugh:

If I am not wrong Jon is the guy that got Paul into real distance in the first place. That probably makes Jon one of the first guys doing serious distance practise with the 5wt in Europe. I think the Shootout format is his work too.

Charlott and I had the pleasure of meeting Jon in Scotland last year, he is a very nice person! And as you can see, he knows distance casting too!

Yeah Jon came over for a lesson and beat me :p That's when it all started. The two minute rule is the norm for UK competitions, although the BFCC is 3 minutes - you can usually get a bloody good cast away in three minutes! I've spent a lot of time competing against Jon. Always great times!
