Some my recognize this place, a local casting with a short 7'7 rod.

Charlie - all fish were caught on surfcasters with live worms, so I'm sure you can understand why the tackle isn't shown :p
Nah, just concentrating on the end result - the fish.

thanx guys
a fishing buddy was insisting to make me some nice "the hero angler" epic style kind of picture with this beautiful wild brownie, but it took him way too long time than normal to push that camera botton. i was already shouting loudly on him "press the fecking botton now, you moron"when the fish decided that our time for a photo sesion is over

I know that pool well Jack, I got washed downriver trying to get to it last year! Ronan took a double out of there last season. An amazing river system.

I knew it Should have used mice i/o worms and you would have caught bigger and better fush :p

Arrived around 8, left around 4. The last fish is from the next day on a different river.
I can imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to get washed in - a fair bit of flow going through there. Hell of a pool though.
