Great flies, Holger!

Great flycasters don't think straight - they track straight.....

If it moves - and shouldn't, use duct tape...
If it's stuck - and should move, use WD40...

My latest Pike fly efforts.
Take special notice of how they are not only poorly crafted compared to Holger's flies, but also shoddily documented and significantly smaller than his too.
Cheers Holger, Merry bloody Christmas! :p

Bass and saratoga flies that ride hook point up. Commonly called Guerilla bugs. Trying to get the balance right has been an interesting exercise. I throw them into a bucket of water at least 10 times and if they don't surface hook point up every time, I'll try to adjust them by trimming legs etc. if that doesn't work then they're out - I think I've got them pretty right now.
