not yet Djordge ! :D

here's my last mini for the year.

this one's a little different than the others that where by-catches while fishing for bigger fish. i made it a challenge over the last month and a half to purposely try to catch the smallest fish i could and this turned out to be a lot harder than i thought. no problems finding them or getting them interested but the main problem was managing to hook up. i don't even know what species this is but it took literally thousands of 'takes' before one of them took the hook inside the lips enough to get hooked. (size 28 Andy Baird chiro nymph in the pic) total length of the fish was a little under 4 cm

i've had enough, back to pike before all the waters freeze ! :pirate

cheers,
marc

DH Rod 8/9
NO ! you are using an artificially enlarged Rod/Reel/Arm combo to make the fish look smaller then it really is !

As in the army I have never had a bad day fly fishing, some damn uncomfortable ones but never a bad one.

Did that fish come through the hole? If so we need another category! :p

that fush came from the same place as the previous one , this is what you may hook /if you are good enough :p / when you have a fish farm and a hydro on a fine local chalkstream instead of native browns
