This is a long topic (for years actually) but you seem to have an answer/opinion to most questions that i respect so i wonder if you have read this topic:

Seems like the few trying it out get some good casts from it, but otherwise.... mainly silence... and no response

I'm not going to read that entire thread. But if you want to simply restate how "cast and release works", I'd be happy to offer and opinion.
