How would changing the size of arc (change of angle) get rid of that dip?

I would have a major effect on how I train instructors.

So the fix for creep is to increase the size of the casting arc ? How would increasing the size of the casting arc offset the concave path of the rod tip as a result of translating and rotating (creeping) at the same time and then following that with rapid rotation. Increasing the size of the casting arc would correct for the concave path of the tip ? Me no think so much to good of an idea.

:D

Question was "How would changing the size of arc (change of angle) get rid of that dip?"

What would a CA graph look like for that diagram? Compare that with the CA diagram for a cast with 'creep' (CA definition) which caused a tailing loop.

I think we can make a cast with a tip path like that but the dip is not caused by creep - imho.

Dips not caused by creep unless the creep involves a slight lowering of the elbow as the rod is slowly crept forward and or down Offsetting the arc size would offset neither. If you slowly rotate and translate at the same time you've still crept.
