Tommo - I see that the "Rules section" has the ICSF logo at the bottom of the page.

http://www.wcflycasting.com/Rules.html

Does this mean that the casters must be members of the ICSF registered body for that country or can they just turn up ?

Good Luck - I'll be in preparation for the ICSF World Championships in Tallinn.

It's not ICSF this year and we're probably going to have to set up a new administering body this year. ICSF isn't interested in 5 weight ir Spey casting, which is a pity because if they completely adopted the sport I'm sure that many of us would take up T38 and T120. Maybe they don't want this? I have no idea.

Anyway I'm going and you don't need be ICSF member this year.

Cheers, Paul

Paul are you wanting to sleep in your car on get a cabin on the other side of the lake where we stayed last time? Trying to sort out a group and book one for us all, think they sleep up to 5 if my memory serves me right.

Happy to go in with the cabin, although I'll probably sleep under the car of course.

Hi Paul,
I agree with you that if the ICSF took this under their banner then it would be a natural progression from the current events & visa-versa, which must be good for the sport in general.
The biggest down side is the annual affiliation fees.

ICSF don't want us. Apparently some of their committee do but their president doesn't. I don't know all the ins and outs, only what I've heard down the grapevine. For me I don't understand it; when an opportunity comes along I say run with it.

Cheers, Paul
