Prettiest - Golden trout from unnamed ridge!!

I handle these guys as little as possible so shots are not staged. Sorry to all those that love the staged photo's

As in the army I have never had a bad day fly fishing, some damn uncomfortable ones but never a bad one.

That !beautiful! Golden trout remembers me to a Brook trout I caught in the Yellowstone park. Doesn't count in here since it was not this year though ;).

I Bernd,

I have fished brook trout in several U.S. states, Argentina, Italy, France, Sweden, and three Spanish mountain ranges. I just found a place, a small lake of Asturias at 2000 meters above sea level, where the males of brook trout have your best nuptial colors all year. I do not know why.
I also love these beautiful fish.

Probably the most striking brown trout I have ever seen are from the Clyde. Instantly recognisable to Clyde fishermen for their spots and intense yellow undersides. Indeed they are known locally as "Yellow Bellies". one of mine from earlier this year.
