Somehow the other day I made it through 2 full hours of my loud alarm and an hour of the alarm on the other side of the bed with out waking (that I can recall)...
I decided to take that morning off work.

:D

my guess is none of the first four had any effect whatsoever..
There's a slim chance that the fifth one might do a "little bit" of damage!

I think the 10am is a bit optimistic personally.

Be thankful, I outgrew needing 4 alarms, these days I'm happy if I sleep 5 hours, and the alarm is barely neccesary
There is magic in it. Let the most absent-minded of men be plunged in his deepest reveries - stand that man on his legs, set his feet a-going, and he will infallibly lead you to water, if water there be in all that region.

I don't know why I even bother. I've slept through thunderstorms that have left countries in a state of emergency, how of earth is a little phone going to wake me?

It's BS. But tonight I'm shifting timezones - I do it in NZ all the time, so I know what I'm talking about. Staying awake all night and then again throughout the next day, with jet noises, I will successfully shift my time zone from waking hours of midday/ish to 5.30am, to 4.30am starts and 9.30pm lights out (with a bit of a lie in).

That's fucking dedication for you. Tomorrow I'll be a zombie. I probably won't know the difference.

Cheers, Paul

Three hours of daylight today. And if I don't do something about it, it will only get worse. Fuck I'm going to meet all those morning people. But I won't be saying "good morning" to them, oh no, I'll be saying "good afternoon" because 6am will be afternoon. The problem is I'll be drunk.
