greets all,

i have several rabbit pelts from the grandma in law. they were just plainly pulled over a plank and left to dry. thus they are stiff as hell. last night i cut me out a nice section and proceeded to wash it and scrape away the fat and other loose bits away with a knife. but the skin is still quite thick.

i can't remember if any of Mike Conner's articles has anything on thinning out the skin. i considerd letting it dry out to a bone again and having a go at it with them rocks or stones used to remove really hard skin from feet.

is there a sexy looper out there that might have experimented with this stuff?

and theres a lotta dubbing on one pelt there hey. and the wife is starting to loose her pacience with me coz of them patches of dubbing on the carpet that defy being vaccumed.
