hi there,pomahaka. according to my extensive photo file collection of s.island pubs,i believe this is near renwick.at the start of the wairau valley road,west of blenheim. i think neil is in a pub ,way south of there... :D dale

yup.. spent quite a bit of time in the pub... the weather wasnt good, but we still managed to find a bit of clear water until things went really soggy, its a shame it was just too rough to take the boat out either.
Anyway the company was very good, who better to have as companions than two Irishmen, speciallists in the art of wet weather fishing and drinking.
