2008 New Year's Fly Swap - Here we go again

Post by Rich Knoles »

I'll be hosting this years fly swap. You know the routine.

Each person will choose a pattern (any type) and tie 1 for each participant plus 1 for the master/backup set. In exchange, you'll receive 1 fly from every other participant.

Mail me
-Flies (tag each with the pattern and your name)
-Container of some type (will be returned to you with flies)
-Self-addressed envelope/package and one or two bucks/euros for postage or some sort of return stamp if your post service does this sort of thing or just get the flies here if you can't manage much else.

Send Flies by: Jan 31st

If the response is big enough we'll split it into two groups again.

Post them off to.

heysa!

I don't know why I am doing this, as the flyswap-tying- session allways ends up in a total stress/ panic and can't find material situation :D

But here I go:

Daniel if you tie a bare hook nymph and not a floating frog I'll be really pissed off.

The Viking! Something scary :-)
Great flycasters don't think straight - they track straight.....

If it moves - and shouldn't, use duct tape...
If it's stuck - and should move, use WD40...

No salmon in Kent Magnus so it's just as well there is nothing to tie my line to or hook the fish with :p . I might have a load of odd looking Black Brahans going spare soon. They would look like a wooly bugger if you squint a bit.
