Some parts of Fiordland actually receive up to 8 metres of rain/year. You'll love it.

How does that help from keeping you dry? If you sleep in a tree, you are closer to the source of the wet.

under the truck seems a little rough but when you look back that cut in your forehead from the gearbox is more like a survival badge

Thanks Roy, it will happen! But most likely the year after! Looks like a really good opportunity has come up that will see me in the Southern Hemisphere. I've never been very good at making plans
