The joy of "Garden Leave"... I went out fishing again at the top of Lake Dunstan.
The water is slightly down from the other day, but still plenty of fish on the flats.
I'm sick of all my fishing shots without me in them... so I took a compact tripod along.
Here's the first self portrait...
I was choosing an object (the tussock) and framing it at a guess then setting the timer...
came out not to bad.
Here's another from a backwater... hence the dark colours of the fish...
Tripod was on a slight lean...
The backwater was lower than tuesday so only half the number of fish...
still a fine golden brown from the weeds...
Great fishing, it seems a shame to start work again in a week
Mike.

Beautiful fish Eric! You didn't get stuck in the sand this time?
