Been using this bobber lately in the river (foam ball with rubber band) . The post seems gimmicky but does give better indication, particularly the point where the nymphs actually achieve depth. Damn Jeroen! How bad do you not want to hook the fish that eats one of those? :D Hell, I want to eat one...

where we used to pick them from a local cricket pitch. Have just recently heard that a lot of the public parks and gardens in Washington and Oregon are fertilizing with fungicides now to keep exactly that from happening. Doesn't due for a bunch of hippies to be wandering around out front of the cap...

Currently I'm taking my bundle, flatten it, then halve it around the thread, spread it out as best I can then make a loose wrap, then spread it around as best I can before tighte...

For a while Rio sold this thin wire coated with a neon yellow floating material (I think they called it Kahuna indicator). You can nip a short section and twist it around your leader wherever and it stays put as long as you don't tear your line out of the water with a lot of force. It's sort of lik...

I was in the outlet store and saw patagonia stormfront backpack that looked simple and good, but was gone when I returned (too much for me at full price). Kinda of glad I don't live in Rainland and need vs want this.

Several of us here have used the Ortleib AquaZoom bag (myself included). You can search this forum for ortleib and find some threads. It'll hold a body with a medium / small zoom and is definitely waterproof if you've sealed and rolled it. Lars mentioned once that his body wont fit w/ a battery pac...

I fish one on my 6wt TCX, and yes it has a very strong turnover. The tip is too strong for dries without significant leader change; it needs heavy or bushy flies to keep for crashing or slapping. Overhead can feel a little heavy (too heavy on a weaker slower rod?) but it rollcasts nicely. It's stif...
